earlier this week, i worked an AV gig that was located on the hundredth floor of a building in manhattan. i took a lot of photos up there.

last week, i was on semi-vacation and did a lot of patching in touchdesigner for week of patching. i wasn't able to post every day, but i did 5/7, and got a lot more comfortable with the program, which was the main goal. now that i have a better understanding of its functionality, i think it will be very useful to me in the future, but i also see where its limitations are. i am realizing that i will still need to get better at writing shader code to accomplish everything i want to digitally — but touchdesigner also makes working with shaders easier. and of course there is still plenty more to explore.

on saturday, we hiked up a mountain called "sleeping giant," and on sunday, we went to my partner's sister's birthday party, and swam in their lake.

on my return from my city trip this week, the sky got very smoky from wildfires somewhere, and it looked like the sun was a small orange orb barely visible through the gray atmosphere.

that's all for now. till next time...
